Fall 2008

So is a recap of the "stuff" we have been up to. Since we got home from New Orleans in September we have been trying to stay a little more low key. We have done a few fun things and are trying to take of a few things in our life that have needed addressing.

It's been a great couple of weeks and here are some pictures from our lives :)

Me at the pumpkin farm....Mike has been in Yorktown for training this month and we were able to get together with him one Saturday. We went to the pumpkin farm and went out to eat at Luna Maya, and watched some football.

Since Beverly Hills Chihuahua had already out, Sammy was very popular at the pumpkin farm. Several people told us he looked like one of the dogs from the movie.

The scoreboard-- We also have visited PA to see Shari and attend a Penn football game. It was pretty cold and windy day but it was fun! We kept wondering what the combined IQ of the football players were since they were playing Columbia! We kept laughing that we didn't want anyone to get a head injury because those really smart brains need to be able to graduate so they can be doctors and engineers and scientists!

If you look closely, you can see small dots flying from the upper deck. The school has a tradition that before the 4th quarter the alumni "toast" the players by throwing real toast onto the field. We even saw the lady running the bread through a toasting machine...pretty funny.

The mini zamboni cleaning up the bread -- funny story -- this thing kept picking up the bread and then when he turned around, it would all poop out of the other end. It took this guy an hour to clean up the track....it was very humorous.

After the game we also paid a visit to see Alexa and Lea...we hung out for dinner which was deee-lish! We just vegged out on the couch which was great and relaxing....we also stayed to watch part of the baseball game and to see Sarah Palin on SNL...I can't get enough of them poking fun of her...it's too funny!

Tiff, Me, Bradley, Jenni, and Shari--We drove over to New Jersey before returning home in order to have brunch with Tiff and Jenni. It was so great to see them...

It was a gorgeous & crisp fall day in Jersey

Last Friday night we went to a going away party for our friends Scott & Diane. They have officially retired (CONGRATULATIONS!) and hit the road in their RV with beagles Bill and Jake. We are already jealous as we see the pictures from their first few days of travel! safe travels and we miss you already!

This is Sammy this weekend enjoying his Sunday basking in the sun....he had been puke free for 3 days and things were looking better!
