What Your Bathroom Habits Say About You

You are a very considerate person, but that doesn't mean you let people walk all over you.

Your idea of fashion is jeans and a t-shirt. Clean, if you're lucky.

You are a very outgoing person. You are true to yourself, and you never hold back.

In relationships, you tend to be very romantic and demanding. You'll treat your partner like gold, but you expect a lot in return.

You Act Like You Are 27 Years Old

You are a twentysomething at heart. You feel like an adult, and you're optimistic about life.
You feel excited about what's to come... love, work, and new experiences.

You're still figuring out your place in the world and how you want your life to shape up.
The world is full of possibilities, and you can't wait to explore many of them.

I miss my camera

I left my charger at Shari's in PA and just realized it this week. I haven't been able to take many pictures since we got back and it's almost dead...I hope I can download the ones I have on it -- arg!

Getting in shape

So this week has been a bit rough...with the cold I have in my chest, I have to be careful because of my asthma. On Tuesday I decided 5 days of no working out was enough, even though I went to Yoga last Friday night. On Tuesday, I went to my 1st real (non-starter) Pilates class, ran for 12 minutes on the treadmill, and then went to my 2nd starter Step class. I was feeling a lot more comfortable with the step and thought I'd try the real step class again today..Well, I had not had this instructor before and she did things I haven't seen (of course). So I got a 3/4 workout because I couldn't see her some of the time and at one point thought I was going to hurl...I ate my pear too close to class time. After step, I saw Mike and Lisa there and walked around the track with them. Then I ran for 12 minutes again.

Despite the issue with step, this was a week of progress. I started running at 4.0 on the treadmill (which is slightly slower than a snail to the regular runner) and last week I ran at 4.2 and today at 4.4 -- I'll have to stick with 4.4 for a little bit because my heart rate got to 175 after a while.

The other progress was that I have lost 4 pounds and 2 inches from my belly! (I had gotten back to 160 when I started this -- My healthy weight is probably more like 140 -- and I'm down to 156) My pants aren't tight anymore.

YIPPEE!

At this rate, when we get pregnant (someday), I might be at a weight that won't make me end up at 200 pounds!

Theme change

A theme change for Valentine's Day -- The colors wouldn't fit with the template that I had, so I changed that to so it matched.

Saturday

Today I had to skip the gym because I have a yucky cold. I slept in while Brad went to his guitar lesson. Then we went to Va Beach to Brad's work to show Sammy off to some girls there. Then we headed to the beach - It's a bit cold for that, but it was great -- the surf was really loud and Sammy had a great time running around and chasing the seagulls. Then we went to Machismo, our favorite burrito bar for lunch. Had to get home in time to attend my co-worker's funeral -- it was a difficult one being that it was so sudden. By the time I got home, I was so achy and tired and then had a headache from crying, that Sammy and I took a nap.

We watched the blizzard bowl -- the Packers/Seattle game -- Go Packers! Can't wait to beat you next week!

Now I'm trying to catch up on email and the news while drinking green tea with honey -- no idea if it really helps, but it's comforting anyway.

I have to charge my camera and then will get some pictures of the beach today posted.

Happy Saturday

rough day

a 14 hour work day -- it's been a while since I had to log one of those, but I have several projects due this week and some things that came up, too.

I have made it to the gym a couple of times -- yoga last night and that was great -- very nice to go and relax for an hour...i'm in a little groove with the gym...i'm at the point where when I've had a long or a rough day i want to go there because i feel better...that's a good turning point.

we also had a team member pass away at work - he worked on the team that I trained on last year -- was a great guy and always gave me positive reinforcement about how I was doing my job and how happy he was for me to get back to first shift -- Just one of those people you always wanted to stop and talk to because he was so nice --it was a sad couple of days

looking forward to getting home on time tomorrow night, a date night with Bradley on Saturday and maybe ice skating this weekend...And of course watching the Cowboys win!
