Bradley playing air guitar on our balcony..with a great view up to the north end of the beach.

this is the view toward the south end of the beach. the white triangle all the way at the top of the picture is the finish line tent..the finish line is on the boardwalk just to the right. the cones are where the runners came off the street on to the boardwalk.

The view straight out of our hotel room. I miss the waves crashing already........

This is the beginning of the race (the start is off to the right side of the picture). there were over 5,000 people running the 1/2 marathon..it was nothing but a sea of people, in the dark, at 630 in the morning.

This is one of the first runners of the 1/2 marathon rounding the corner to the finish. I just think the picture is so neat with the ocean in the background!

We are eating breakfast with Hanah and Tana in our hotel while Ryan was running. We were in the PERFECT spot to see the end of the events. If you look over Brad's shoulder you see the cones and the corner the runners rounded on the home stretch.

Brad in front of our hotel where we cheered on the runners in their last 1/2 mile.

My friend Michael from Target. He is my "next door office neighbor" at work. He knew we would be there, but didn't expect us to be right on the street and hear us cheering for him. It was so cool to see the look on his face!

Ryan finished and beat his time from last year....

Michael, me, and Ryan...nothing like a Yuengling at 9am! This was the finish line tent where the runner's got to eat, they had a band playing, and we got to drink beer on a Sunday morning...I don't think I've ever done that before. I had four layers of clothes on because it was pretty cold and very windy...the sun ran away from the previous day and it rained all night...we got lucky that it didn't rain during the day...it could have been much worse.
It was a great weekend.....can i have a do-over?

Aren't great weekends the best? I am envious. We had a good week off. We need a break from school. May comes soon. I love the hats, Brad's is great.
